Whirling Chair Games is just about finished with our first release "Vault Vex". Some of you may have seen the screens I posted a few weeks ago; well, now's your chance to see the game in action! I'm looking for a few charitable souls to spend 10-15 minutes putting the game through its paces--it's a fairly simple puzzle-type game that's meant to be played quickly, so it's definitely not a big time commitment. If you think you might be interested in giving it a whirl (pun intended), PM me or send me e-mail. Thanks!

Here's my report:
1) The buy button on the page screen is too modest and doesn't stand out.
2) I couldn't find a use for the glue command.
3) I dislike the "Make Wild" option. I can only imagine it would make the game too easy in the full version. I see no reason why the Wild color wouldn't be treated just as any other color - the player will have to use the Wild tiles wherever is best fit. There's no reason btw why all the four elements of a tile be Wild instead of just one or three.
4) The user interface could be better. If you lose the Make Wild, you can simply rotate left or right on left and right mouse clicks.
5) I was kind of puzzled when I couldn't place a tile on the board. Instead you could allow me to place the tile on the board but highlight with a red outline the positions of the small touching tiles of different colors. Then you can allow rotating directly on the board. Also swaping (dragging a tile over another tile on the board).
6) I didn't notice when the assistant had anything to say. When it says something new there should be some visual effect too.
7) The demo cut for this game doesn't work for me. The limits on the user interface are plainly annoying, the lack of limits on the available of levels doesn't make me interested in the full game. In essence, this demo is a harder version of the full game. If I play the harder game, why would I return to the easier fullversion?
8) If you keep the number of rotations limit (though I disagree with it), at least add some Reset button to the demo so I won't have to return all the way to the main menu.
9) The tiles of the locked treasures should change color when I place a tile around them to show the color matters.
10) The default option in the menu doesn't default the sound and music - instead it turns the volume up lots.

Wow, thanks for all the great suggestions! This more than I would have asked for, so thanks very much, Diodor! I'll definitely try to roll all of these suggestions into the final product.
