Hehe, nothing so big to be honest :)
Since I am finishing my game, I'd need to translate my game text into those languages: French, German, Spanish and, maybe, Dutch.
I've already made a English version, but I need also someone to check for correct spelling and mistakes (this task would be easier than to translate though).

What can I offer you in exchange? err... well, the full copy of the game once finished, and the promise to help you translate any text in italian (since I am italian!).

I'll also put a link of your site in the game website, which get some traffic already, even if the game isn't published yet (ah the power of soccer word...!!! :P)

So if you think it's worth, drop me a line to the email: info <at> studior4.com

(change <at> with @ hehe)

Thanks!

Thanks :))
And Akura is volunteer to check the english spelling. Cool, the first two full-version of the game are awarded :P hehe

Guess the hardest one to find will be the Dutch... anyone ? :(

Puedes contar con mi traducción al español. As long as it's not a soccer RPG with tons of text, of course :p

emailed ya, how long is the text needed to translate?

to ggambett: the game texts aren't a lot, in fact the match is not yet interactive (ehm, well, what you expect from only 5 months of part-time coding?? hehe).
The help-file which explain how to play the game is a bit bigger, 1200 words, but I think that it would take maximum 2 hours to do all the translation (that's what took me from Italian to English).
If you want I can send you the help file, its 670kb (there are images with it).
You could help translating only the help or only the game texts, as you prefer :)

Thanks to anyone who answered! Now a brief summary:

-English review: Akura (Bruno SOusa)
-French translate: Patrox (Patrice Krysztofiak)
-German translate: Onyx (Jos Hirth)
-Dutch translate: Mike Wiering
-Finnish?: Morphecy
-Spanish?: ggambett

Wow I got even more than I thought ;)
I put a question mark on the latest two because we're still deciding if to translate only some piece of texts.

But anyway, thanks all :)

p.s. I sent you another textfile because, as patrox suggested, I was telling customer bad things like "the game was designed to be simple..." and so on :P
I am quite new to this sort of things!

You probably don't need it, but I can do danish translation.

Well don't know... in this version there won't be the danish league, so I wonder if danish ppl will still buy it?
Anyway, Morphecy told me that was worth doing the finnish translation because there's a market for such games in his opinion.
So if you think the game could work there, and you want a free copy, I can send you the docs and maybe do only the translation of the help file (the in-game text arent' many).

As long as the title is not for small children or old people then I think that most danish people will be satisfied with english.

I don't know if there is a market for it here. I'm not a soccer fan myself :)

But if you want me to translate something send to barryslisk@yahoo.com.

Ok I'll write that email down, and after some months if I see that there are a lot of danish customers, I'll contact you.

Thanks anyway :)

Hehe, don't worry, I have someone review all game and help texts :P the game won't contain such errors!

The page says: "Pentium 2 300mhz".

The txt says: "P3 350mhz".

I'm quite sure there wasn't a Pentium 3 with 350mhz. Well I'll put Pentium 2 300mhz there.

Yes go for P2 300mhz. It has been tested on my old Pc which is a Pentium 3 450mhz, I wrote 350mhz but is a mistake :P

thanks

Jack, check your mail.

I've translated the txt document. About that P3 stuff I'm sure you can change that yourself :)
