I got a question about Solid Spheres, the best shareware game. On download.com I saw the downloads are about 2,299 from april 14. But is the conversion rate worth to submit to download.com? Also I am curious about the total sales number of this addictive game. I really like it! Thanks in advance!

I like that quote "the best shareware game"! If it was I don't think I'd be sitting in the UK in the rain!

I don't really rate download.com. It's never really done anything for our games in the past and we never get massive downloads from there. Other sites drive a lot more traffic our way. Of course lots of other people do very well out of it (or so I've heard) so it has to be your own personal preference.

In the Dexterity Monthly Figures Poll we used to sell between 0 - 25 games. We have now moved up to the 26-50 mark.

I've built up quite an extensive list of sites over the last year or so - about 200-300 sites.
I submit to them and then at intervals I check to see if the games are listed. If not, I submit again. This goes on and on and on and on !!

Question for everyone (especially for patrox),

Opproximately, what is the ratio of "downloads from download.com per the total downloads" when a game is submitted to accusolve.biz?

It is a tool that will let you submit your software to +300 sites.

It's a must have imho. ( I think there is robosoft as a competitor )
