I know a lawyer would be the best person to ask about this, however I just want maybe a general idea. Anyone know if digitized contracts are enforcable, i've already have one person say no. That is, scanning and emailing contracts. However i've also been told that fax contracts are just fine, any ideas?

I know that the law was changed specifically to allow for fax contracts and I "believe" that a digitally signed (Thawt etc) electronic document is legally binding but as for a scanned paper doc??

Faxed and scanned seem to be about the same.

All the contracts I sign I print, sign, scan, fax and it seems to work for me.
