I wanted to finish the demo levels before I order the full version. However, I think there is something wrong with the final demo game "Expert Polarizers". I can only see one way, as follows: Direct the beam over the top, down through the purple polarizer and angle it through the blue polarizer with the prism. That leaves me with two mirrors to direct the blue beam to the blue target. However, it will not let me place the mirrors in the proper position. They keep jumping to one side or the other. What am I missing?

See attachment of completed "expert polarizers" This is a really neat puzzle game but can be a challenge--my opinion well worth the price.

Nice try su54, but for some reason all I get is a blank page. As far as I know I don't ordinarily have a problem with BMP's. Could you tell me whether or not I am doing it wrong. If so, I will keep trying (for a while). I still can't imagine any other way to get a blue beam out of the box.

The screen shot comes up fine for me. Maybe try a different web browser....

It doesn't work for me and i'm using IE, it seems to be using some activex plugin or some other unrecognized media, i think the firewall/security settings at work are blocking it.

I tried Steve's suggestion. I keep Netscape for emergencies. I used it, and it worked, but it wouldn't with IE. If you have Netscape, give it a try. Now I have to figure the next (and last) level of the demo. If they keep getting harder in the full version, I may have to think twice about buying it.

Sorry the gmp didn't work but I don't know what to tell you about the problem. But as an alternative -- after taking the beam to the interior send it to the right with a mirror and out with a refractor through the cyan polarizer and it will work. Good luck.

Maybe it's just BMP files that are the problem with IE. Perhaps it would work if you posted a GIF or JPG instead....

Steve: I thought you said it worked for you, how do I make it a gif.

It does work fine for me as a BMP. I just thought it might solve the problems others were having if it were posted as a GIF or JPG instead, since those formats are natively supported by browsers. You would just need to load the screen shot into any image editing software and save it as a different file type. MS Paint, which comes free with Windows, can convert to both GIF and JPG format. I just converted the image you posted to a GIF and attached it to this message.

yeah you're new gif version works. it could be that the version of IE has some weird file association with .bmp that is messed up, where as gif's just display natively in the browser.
