Just popped in to check my download.com listing and discovered that I'd somehow acquired an Official Review.

On the plus side, there are *very* few items in my category (Adventure/RPG) with editorial ratings, so that could net me more downloads if people try listing by that ranking.

On the minus side, they said that it might be enjoyed by young children. Which is just a bit under my target audience (12+). :)

Ah, well. 10 sales so far, 7-8-ish of them female (some bought by female-named credit cards but, best as I can tell from emails, played by boys. Only one male purchaser. That I can tell.).

Could you post a link to the review of your game on download.com ? I'd be interested in reading it.

Just had one for Wonderland as well - it's been online for almost a year now, strange timing - maybe they're cleanign out their old "to-do" lists. :)

Papillon, maybe you're hitting that fairly small market of male gamers who actually want to be princesses. :) Maybe you should think about doing some targetted advertising... pinktriangle.com, alternative weeklies in large cities, etc. <laugh> Sorry, I'm getting carried away here.
