Level 24, Timber, is confusing me. The clue says to "distract the torch guy early". I have solved it three different ways, and I don't pay the slightest attention to the torch guy with any of them. One way (not approved by management) is to have Matthius kill the upper left mushroom. I can also slip Skimlet past the mushroom using his water spell and ducking back up to the left before he gets nailed. Then, of course, I can lead the termite to the top level to let Skimlet through after Howard plants trees all around the other mushroom. Matthius can remove trees to let Skimlet through, and Howard can replant them to get himself through. There must be a fourth way, involving distraction of the Torch Guy. Anyone care to enlighten me.

Ignore my previous post. I kept at it till I figured out a fourth way, distracting the Torch Guy and guiding him to the top of the board. This takes out the trees and leaves fire which Skimlet can get through. I still think it is easier to use Matthius to remove the tree from the down arrow so that Skimlet can get through walking sideways on the arrow.

Thanks for your continued enthusiasm bwatson - it's always great to see someone who's clearly enjoying our game!

One of the things we're most proud of in OTT is that there are various ways of solving many of the puzzles. The level hint may not always direct you to the easiest solution (what would be the fun in that? ;) ), but instead the most enjoyable one.

You gotta love Torch Guy wrangling!
