I know there must be an obvious solution to this which continues to obscure itself. Can anyone give me a hint where to place the prism in "Don't Cross Merge" and "Back Combining"?

Thanks for the hints dar. I finally figured out Back Combining--I'm still working on Cross Don't Mix. You mentioned you got the "hints" from the hints page; the only hints I have found are at http://twilightgames.com/aargon/hints.htm and I didn't see any for these levels.
