Sorry, I still don't get it. How can you hit coins without using the
lasers ?
I am also stuck on MAGENTA GROTO.

It's not hitting the coin that's tricky. The tricky part is fencing in the mines. That's what you don't need lasers for.

As for magenta grotto... well you have to understand the prism well to solve it. Split the white beam in 2 first.

I think you meant prisms rather than lasers. I did solve it
the next day. As you say , once the mines are contained - dead easy. I'll have another go at Magenta Grotto. The prism is probably the most fascinating piece of the game.

It is not that I cannot get a magenta beam, but it is closed circuit.
How to get it to pass through the coin is the problem.
I am now also stuck with CROSS TROUBLE.

There are 2 ways to get magenta on that level. One is by splitting the colors up and making a loop with red and blue. That's the wrong way to do it since as you've said, there's no way to hit the coin. What's the other way?
