If you do a search (on this forum), there are users that read certain marketing books that really paid off for them.

I own a copy of 33 Days (ebook). I thought there was some good stuff in there and that it was worth the price. The part about auto-responders is very good. It think it's good to read the book but not necessarily follow the 33 steps in order. You need to understand the big picture before you start implementing.
