Uh.

Anyone looked in the new releases for download.com today?

Most of the categories have suddenly been flooded with dozens upon dozens of tiny little patches (path number 55, patch number 56, patch number...)

Other than wrecking the ability of anyone to find new stuff by clicking on a category (or New Releases) - who had the money to flood the place like that? I boggle. :)

(Of course, it's quite possible that as usual when I eep, this is all just a Horrible Mistake and all this crap will be shunted off into the Patches and Updates category where it assumably belongs.)

Let's hope so. :) Otherwise some categories will have 80% of their downloads in patches. I was under the impression that download.com started charging for listings to avoid having 80% of their listings being useless crap. So much for that huh? :)
