Here is a neat tool to view some traffic stats. I am not sure how accurate it is, but the results are very interesting.

I did a search on dexterity, maybe Steve can tell us if the results are close to the amount of hits that he recieves;

You can do your own searches here; http://www.alexa.com/

I like that site. It's always a good way of checking up on the "web prescence" of any site. I also like the Wayback Machine.

I don't know how Alexa does their rankings and calculations, so I can't say how accurate their site ranking is. I have no idea where they get the other numbers on their site, as they don't mesh with any of our server stats. To get a general impression of a site's popularity, I'd say Alexa can be helpful though.

Not really representative.
The stats are compiled from Alexa Toolbar users only.

Those stats are way wrong, as AnotherDev said, those are compiled only from Alexa Toolbar users, I had a site I was hosting that was ranked 3 times as much as another site I was also hosting, but looking at logs from both, the one that was down on alexa had around 10x more traffic/hits than the one ranked in Alexa.

basically all it does is rank sites based on Alexa's customers visits which you couldn't accurately use to find a sites popularity unless of course Alexa's users were all shareware gamers :)
