so i finally quit smoking, after about 12 years of smoking, not a single day without a damn cigarette. i think it's just not worth it anymore, cigarettes are damn expensive (and unhealthy of course)

i'm very nervous but i feel really happy because the money i needed for smoking each month i can now save for a big fat webserver :>

Congratulations, aspiral! I'm coming up on my seventh anniversary of quitting after several years as a full-time smoker. Growing up with smokers, I never noticed how smelly they were until after I'd quit. Now I'm kind of embarrassed to think that I once smelled that way too. Stick to your guns and don't go back! :)

Congrats! That's a wonderful life-affirming change! I've never smoked a cigarette before, so I don't know what it's like to smoke or to quit, but it sure seems addicting considering what people endure to do it. Welcome to the ranks of the nonsmokers!
