Hi Steve,
My group is working on an RPG that is similar to a game called Fallout in that there are adult themes.
In one thread I saw you mention that your site is aimed at a family audience. Could I infer from this that you are only interested in RPGs that are suitable for children?

That's really too general a question for me to be able to answer, especially since I've never played Fallout. We evaluate each game based on its own merits (gameplay, polish, market, fit with our customer base, etc), and those are moving targets.

Fallout and Fallout2 are two of my favorite RPG's of all time. ;)
Even if steve doesn't publish it, i'll still buy it :P

Your education is really lacking (in RPGs) if you haven't played Fallout Steve. Its a benchmark standard by which all RPG should be judged. As they all fall short (for me) I haven't played one in a long time.
What I'd like to do is more like Fallout rather than Fallout 2. I didn't like the prostitution and drug scene in Fallout 2.
What we are creating isn't on the same scale as those games. But we are working towards that with something simpler using the game world (we created).

I felt that both games were wonderfully balanced, it was the first game to make me really enjoy the strategy of turnbased combat. Fallout2 had some annoying QA problems when it first shipped and made me not like it as much as the origional. Both are still amazing games however.

Without disrespect but I find this a bit arrogant. Now, if I bring a couple of FF zealots, NOX zealots, Diablo zealots in here, and they all say the game they play is the standard, what would be the result? (Still have flashbacks of the last time NOX and Diablo zealots fought...)
Oppinions are great, but stating things like that because you like that game isn't really helping anyone.

I didn't intend it to be arrogant.

Before any flaming, I didn't want to call you arrogant, just expressing the statement was, not you ! :)
