If you sell games over the net, you must have had at least one stupid email. I used to get annoyed and delete emails from people who were abusive, unhelpful or rude about my games, but now I always try to reason with them and hope to turn their opinions around.
Some emails I get just make me laugh, some annoy the hell out of me, and some just make me dispair.
The ones I find especially bizzare are those who seem to think I am insane or know what they are thinking, like emails with no subject that say things like

"Can I have all your games for free please?"

or

"Your games are cool but they would be better if they were more like Quake3, only maybe with dinosaurs and stuff"

or

"It crashes and then doesnt work what do I do now?" (no game mentioned)

or better still

"Your games look crap, Im 13 years old and I can program better code in my sleep"

I bet there are a few of you who have got similar inane emails, and I just wondered if you wanted to share these (often surreal) experiences, so I don't carry on thinking the world is out to get me!

BTW I also get some emails saying my games kick ass, so its 6 of one and half a dozen of the other...

I'd hate to say it but they're all losers.

Who has time these days to make up stuff like that. I must say though I've had my share of stupiditiy, I used to go to IRC rooms and start console bashing, like how PS is better than N64 and stuff...but I was like 12 and immature.

I'm kind of glad I don't do that stuff anymore, because it's all unproductive really.

As some know, I wrote a book, I get some nice emails also, the most recent:

"HELLO!! well i wont waste your time for too long. I dont know where to get the microsoft visual c++ program though, so if there is any way you could e-mail me the program or even where to find it that would be great. "

This is just sad, pain I can't seem to find the funniest one I got a while ago
