Does dinput have bugs? Tried a game on a laptop which uses shift and ctrl. When i press the key once,it gets stuck. When i press again,it's free again. So my dog jumps all the time till you press the key again.
Doesn't happen with space for example.
This hasn't occurred on any other PC i tried.
Is it better to use WM_VK messages than dinput?
Or have i done anything wrong?

ALL moderately complex software has bugs.

Make sure you don't have Sticky Keys turned on.
