Maybe you guys know it already but I just found this site today:

http://www.the-underdogs.org/ . Its a museum of indie games of the past that didnt sell well either due to poor marketing or some other goof up.

There is also a scratchware manifesto that will inspire indie developers.

Anybody else have any interesting links to share?

Yeah, Underdogs is a pretty cool site, but it's not an indie site. They have titles on there that were very big back in the day and were done by some of the big boys in the industry. Very cool site though.

LOL... Indie developers are evil because they do not believe in factual TimeCube! Four-cornered software is TRUTH!

I actually read about three fourths of that before my eyes started to bleed. Thanks a bunch, Dan. :)

I think its the Xmas issue of PC Gamer or Format (sorry cannot remember which one ).. it actually goes through different games and how well they sold. Very interesting to see games that you think did really well only sell 10,000 copies.

If you buy these uk magazines try and look out for it, its certainly an interesting read. Though i am dubious about some of the results as some games they said sold really bad have had number 2 come out. So it couldnt be that bad.
