Hi everybody,

Subj,

Saying more specificaly:

We are using ShellExecute at the registration dialog to call registration page from our site. All another Windows systems are working just fine. But under Windows XP (with dial-up connection!) and PC staying offline this call freezes whole the system. :-(

Any help or info would be appreciated!

You can check reporduction steps for our game below. But one more time ATTENTION: it could freeze your system - be sure to shut down all necessary applications before, OK?

If you have Windows XP with dial-up connection.
1. Load and install our smallest game: http://www.wildsnake.com/pinball/ctree/demo/wspinball_ctree.exe
2. Shut down dial-up connection
3. Run the game.
4. Call Register dialog from Register line of Main Menu and press Buy Online! button.

Please let me know about results.
and
Thanks in advance for possible advices.

Looks like I have to answer by myself on my own messages. :)

I'd like to place update of the situation because I see 42 views of this "my personal" thread. So, may be it could be useful for somebody else.

No. Looks like this is the trouble of some concrete PC of one our customer. We had spent whole weekend in attempts to grab and check all available XP machines around. We had tested 6 different configurations but wasn't able to reproduce this bug.

PS We're still trying to figure our what could be the reason of big amount of zero byte logs to our registration page. But looks like this is absolutely another question.

Thanks for reading :D
