I'd add some text/game taglines to each frame like: "build your ship, hire your crew, and explore the galaxy".

Also, your game have a great graphics to show-off and by looking at the screenshots, why didn't you used the graphics from there? replace the boring black background with the nice starry, dust cloudy I saw in the screenshots. Show the ships in varius angles, 90degrees seems kinda boring and newbie, but when its in the angle and the mark is set on it, it looks really nice and show depth.

oh, [kinda OT] and that last picture... i wanted to scream "ALL YOUR BASE BELONG TO US!" :D. but really, it looks pixelated, wh not put it near the text as if the person say the text?

P.S.
check the game's beta forum, i'm anxius for the next release.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm very new to doing banner ads, I need something colorful, something striking, which also isn't too big a filesize. Are people impressed by banner ad images? or is it just buzzwords and buttons thats needed?

I don't like the blinking of the second one, but it does seem a bit more polished looking.

I *hate* the second one (though I'm not the typical casual user/buyer I guess - only testing could tell if blinking annoyances sells more...).

I find the first one too fast, and the character too pixelated. I'm not sure if the "click here now" button is of any use. To me it looks like removing it and the huge title would leave room for better gfx, maybe more immersive/intriguing; and you could show the game title on one frame only.

I'm not one to really pay attention to ads in the first place, but my brain is extremely good at ignoring anything with blinking or windows interface elements, so right there are two things I think you should leave to the FREE GASOLINE $200 WITH IP TRACKING MONKEY ads. I like the Hire Space Pilot thing but on its own it just doesn't stand. Cleaned up version of that with several more things like:

Hire Space Pilot
Smuggle Cargo
Travel the Galaxy
Become a... Starship Tycoon

More attention grabbing colors (not to be confused with annoying colors... just something more vibrant and attractive) would help too.
