Thanks, that was very helpful. Perhaps this should be a sticky post because I'm sure there are lots of other people looking to find good business books.

My bookshelf includes:
Soloing (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0066620147/) by Harriet Rubin (the book that finally tipped me into going indie)
How To Win Friends And Influence People (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0671723650/) by Dale Carnegie
The E-Myth Revisited (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0887307280/) by Michael E. Gerber
Marketing For Small Business (http://www.wrightbooks.com.au/business.htm) by Kingsley Smith
Don't be put off by the title of the Carnegie book, it's simply the best book around on dealing with people, negative situations and providing people with great friendly service. And it was written in 1936. If you're not a very social person (I wasn't when I read it), I think the book is essential reading - it's all the common sense you were never taught.
I also have Free Agent Nation (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0446678791/) by Daniel Pink but haven't read it yet.
