Hi guys... I just uploaded a new design I've been working on for fusionapple.com, and I would be very grateful, as always, for any feedback.
Anything from color choice, to layout, to game display, to site features...
The giant "100% guarantee" replacing our logo is obviously something of an experiment... any take on that?

Thanks a ton! :)

Font color is light blue when I browse with opera 7.03. Not too nice looking on white background.

Light blue font color? Strange. That would certainly make the site look gross. I've tested it on Opera 7.21 and it's fine...
I'm not sure if there's anything I can do... anyone else having this problem?

Checked your code a little bit and for me it looks like you have put #B0D8FF to your first tables color and then you donīt change color to black when writing those texts and thatīs why they look light blue. So if Iīm right, just change that to #000000 and text should look black.

The layout is good, and the site is easily navigable. A few comments off the top of my head:
- The "Your Fun is 100% Guaranteed" is eye-catching, and the statement is compelling. However, I think it should complement your logo, rather than replace it. The words FUSION APPLE ENTERTAINMENT are conspicuously absent.
- Consider reducing the number of links on the left so as to direct the user to the most important elements. Right now, you present 38 menu items to a user who's just skimming your page.
- If there's a way to get back to the main page from Mission: Land!, I can't find it. I tried looking in the menubar and clicking on the 100% logo.
- There may be a more pleasant combination of colors than the turquoise and purple.
- In anything but the default browser, (e.g., if you bump up the font size in IE, or if you use Mozilla), the menubar items on the left word-wrap. You end up with:
Mission: Land!

- The wallpaper and extra downloads are a nice touch.
- A few of the statements on your site could be stronger:
-- "Thank you, Jordan, for the reply." is not a compelling testimonial! You state that these are just random snippets from e-mail -- but why are they there if they don't excite me about your product? The quotes you use in the review section are much better. "I love Unga Bunga!"
-- "Unga Bunga is the first deathmatch we are aware of to incorporate a fully functional technology tree." makes it sound like you haven't done your research. You might phrase this differently.
-- "Quite a few levels and backdrops" could also be made stronger; it makes it sound like you don't know how long the game is.
- The layout looks curiously like Dexterity's. The copyright notice is very similar; the left-menubar with the color that comes up across the top; the statement "Your fun is 100% guaranteed" at the top; the wording in the copyright notice; and so forth. Not a big deal, but I was not sure if it was intentional.

Thanks for the comments MiceHead! I really appreciate them...
-I realize that the text gets rather skewed on non-default size... do you think this is an issue? Don't the vast majority of users use the default size?
-Do you think it's important to be able to get back to the index from any page?
-The similarity to Dexterity's site is for the most part unententional: a lot of the features that are similar are fairly mundane... the part that I most directly copied are the page headers on the individual game pages, which feature a pic and a "quote," and then two big buttons for download and purchase... I just found this layout very attractive and functional on Dexterity's site, and so I incorporated it. I hope Dexterity will only take any signs of imitation as my comliments to their design, but if it's an issue at all (Steve), just let me know, and I'll see about changing some stuff around.

Could be just me, since I have my res set high, then bump the font size up.

I always see the front page as a place to re-group; sure, there's the menu bar on the left, but the index has your Most Important Stuff on it.
