Those of you who visit the blitz website may already be aware of this, but I have recently released ExGen.

ExGen is a special effects creator/ editor. Use a series of particle systems to create highly detailed animations. Originally intended to be used to create explosions, it can be used to create a wide variety of different effects.

* Easily create single or sequentially numbered animation images
* Create and position multiple particle systems
* Use your own images to colour and shape the particles
* Use a timeline to change the start time of the particle animations
* Add Attractors and Deflectors to manipulate the positions of the individual particles
* Adjust over 30 different parameters to make literally thousands of different combinations of particle animations

The download has two modes. A Demo mode and a Lite mode. The demo mode has all features active except for Exporting of completed animations. The Lite mode is limited in features but lets you export the finished article.

Wildsnake - the website is a work in progress, under constant editing and refinement. However there are now larger screenshots.

Oh well - back to the lab - lets make a new game this time, maybe people will talk to me then :)

Well, I really like the application and have purchased a license! My next update to 3D Breakout (Distraction Style) (http://download.com.com/3000-2099-10253321.html?tag=lst-0-23) will be filled with these beautiful explosions :)

IMHO, it needs more/bigger screenshots. The explosions look nice, now show us something else that can be created with your tool that isn't necessarily an explosion. ;)

Joe - Email me when you release the next version and I will add a link or something to the ExGen page so people can see where it's been used.

Everyone else - looks like the biggest problem with the app is a lack of screenies. I agree a bigger range/ variety of screenshots is neccessary.

At the moment I am going to concentrate on the app rather than the website. That's why i want feedback :)
