Forgive me if this has been discussed before. I tried searching the forums but couldnt find much on the subject.
Im trying to find a company that will accept credit cards on my behalf, hopefully allowing me to create my own shopping cart software that interacts with their credit card validation/processing software. The best Ive found so far is charge.com.
Does anybody have any suggestions for good credit card companies?
Thanks,
- Jeremiah

Those seem to be really good rates (better than anything I've looked at). Do you have any information on charge.com's reputation?

Im not sure of their reputation, although while just doing a quick search, I found this positive article:
http://www.webhostit.com/merchant.html
They said they have really good customer support and have been around for 7 years. Sounds pretty good to me. Now if I would only know whether or not they provide easy interaction between my own shopping cart software and their validation/processing software. Im still waiting for their email response on that one. :)

Terin - we've been looking at going with these guys actually! https://www.internetsecure.com correct? How satisfied are you with them? How is their support/handling of chargebacks/etc? Any hidden fees? Did you go with the US or Can acceptance? I'm thinking US is the correct choice?

Thats them alright.
We have had great experience with them. Their tech support has been very fast and friendly. They have answered every question I have come across to ask.
We have not yet had any issues with chargebacks or hidden fees.
I would reccomend them.

well, I'm signing up with Charge.com shortly. They are an agent of http://www.LinkPoint.com, which is a good thing. LinkPoint offers free API's for C, C++, PHP, and other languages so you can very easy design your own software to process credit cards - which was what I wanted. ( Charge.com offers a free shopping cart and manual processing page too )
If anybody is interested I'll be glad to post feedback on Charge.com here. Just let me know. I won't post if nobody is interested. :)
