Hi all!
We have just lauched new game portal (www.xebro.com (http://www.xebro.com) ) and would like to know your oppinion about:

a) Navigation
b) Design
c) Game pages
d) Users' convinience.
e) etc...

Pleading for mercy, it's our first portal. :)

ur site looks good, but quite green... ;)

the navigation is easy, and clear. But u really don't have enough games right now : one of "games list" and "top games" is redundant.

U have a trouble with ur "Free Download" & "Get Full Version" buttons, as each looks to be composed of 2 buttons (just a pic to fix I guess).

A little thing : "Subcribe" text for Newsletter is not centered in the button.

The forum doesn't look like a forum... Maybe you should rename it to "comments base" or something like that.

Great site, perfect layout, good games.
I notice that you don't have a proper shooter :) (Swarm? Pah!) You need to sell Alien Flux (http://www.puppygames.net/downloads/SetupAlienFluxDemp.exe) as an affiliate, you do :)

Cas :)

Cas,

I was going to scream: "Stop! Don't say! Let me guess!" :D

Just a thought - what with the other thread about copyright infringements...

You have a picture of the sloth from "ice age". I have to think that the chances are the image of said character is trademarked, or at least copyrighted.

You might want to change that before someone vaguely affiliated with the company that made Ice Age sees it.

Other than that, it's a nice design. Clean and effective.

I saw this too, but it looks like a random feed from the GamesBanner network.

Ah yes, so it is. My mistake.

Very, very nice! Great use of space and I happen to like green ;)

My ONLY comment would be to try and make the smaller boxes that run along the left and right edges of the screen (i.e. Games list, Top Games, etc.) and possibly the center box, narrower so the pages fit within an 800x600 screen (by far the most popular desktop resolution). Horizontal scrolling == bad.

Really nice job,
David

The vast majority of polls show both 1024x768 and 1280x1024 to be far more popular than 800x600. 1024x768 is the clear popularity winner.

I stand corrected :) It appears 1024x768 is the more common, BUT 800x600 still has a large enough chunk of the pie that it should be taken into consideration.

From the support page:If you have any technical problems with our games write all your questions at support@xebro.com

Please indicate the follwing:

The name of the game you have problems with.
Description of the problem you've encountered.
Configuration of your computer (OS, processor, RAM, etc.)

We will certainly examine your request. Sooner or later. :-)Consider rewriting this to something a wee bit more supportive than "sooner or later." It's funny, but at the same time, it's not. :) Other than that, the site has a nice design and clean layout.

Strange thing, you know. Everything looks OK in our IE 6. Though some friend of mine have the same problem with "Subcribe" button... :(

We refused standard PHP-BB forum and made our own one that resulted in more active posts from our users and refresh of our so-called forum. We will think over new name for it anyway. Thanks! :)

Sure! We can discuss it in private... :)

Frankly, I don’t know how portal design will look narrowed to 800x600. We will discuss it with our web-designer and try to find a solution.

You right! :)

I'm using "Small font setting" in IE. And Big size font (125%) in Windows. Maybe it create some little disturbances...

I tried to view our site with different IE setup and managed to get non-centered button text. We will try to fix this bug asap...
