Dejobaan Games Launches Inago Rage Website

Dejobaan Games announces the launch of its Inago Rage website (http://www.dejobaan.com/inago). The site offers visitors a first look at the upcoming action game, with information on gameplay, storyline, and level creation, as well as in-game screenshots. Inago Rage is scheduled for a Summer 2004 release for Windows desktop computers.

Dejobaan Games is an independent development studio known for its award-winning Palm OS and Pocket PC creations. (Etc.)As stated above, we've recently launched the official Inago Rage Website (http://www.dejobaan.com/inago), and I'd like to hear any feedback you all might have on it, from the standpoints of both game players and game developers.

Thanks!

It's kind of quirky. I wasn't sure at first what this wierdo cartoon character had to do with a fast paced action game... But it's memorable :D

Could those folks who voted "unfavorable" share their thoughts on what I might do to improve the site?

As Simon points out, I'll have to explain further what the graphic novel characters are doing in the game. I've been working on it so closely that I figured everyone knew. :)

I think it was really neat!
Kept me interested enough to look through all the links!

One thing that kept bugging me about the site is that none of the mini screenshots can be expanded anywhere but the Screenshots page.

Also, the mini graphic novel on the Story page is kind of disjointed. It feels incomplete. Maybe you should watch some movie trailers to see how you can condense the initial story into a few panels. It sounds like you've got a story to go with the game, but the information on the site makes it feel a little like "game with story tacked on." Maybe improving the presentation on the Story page will help it feel more like "game with interesting story." :)

Now, on the visual presentation side, I have to complement your design. The site has a nice, clean look without being too busy.

Thanks; this is the kind of feedback I'm looking for, both positive and negative. I'm trying to integrate the cartoon characters into the game as much as possible; it would also make sense to further integrate them into the website.
