I avoid bundling with anything that doesn't "make sense" for the product. If I were selling an email client or something along those lines, I might be interested in bundling with a popup blocker just to add value. Or if I had a game that ran in a Web browser. Might be useful then. Otherwise, it seems pretty pointless.

I have a deal in the works now to bundle The Journal (http://www.davidrm.com/thejournal/) with an eBook product. We should have it released this month, and start cross-selling for each other. Since the eBook provides information that people who keep a journal can use, it should do pretty well. If it was an eBook about Internet Marketing (for example) or a related topic, I just don't see it being useful, and wouldn't want to bastardize my product that way.
