How good is Visual Basic at at creating games? Can it do something simple like nes games (for example dragon warrior 1)?

Come on man, did you even *try* looking for VB game resources before you posted here??? There are tons... Visual Basic can access all of the DirectX API, hence you can make any kind of game you want with it.
