No offense but divinehost.net makes your freinds site look like sort of a joke. His plans are waaaay more expensive than they should be.
I also run a webhost. http://www.fgvhost.net. But it is a free host and you only get 50mb space.
Yeah, I was gonna ask where all the cheap for craploads of bandwith hosts are. Divine seems awesome, but I'd like to know if anyone can out do even that ($5 for 70 gigs a month, oh my).

For 50$ monthly I can give you 1000 gigs. (I think)
Also, I don't recommend signing up with divinehost.net for about 1.5 weeks, they are getting a new server in about 7 days.

Ouch, yeah, that is expensive. My current plan gives me 150gb bandwidth a month for $7 a month. ( That's PowWeb btw. ) Your friend's site is offering 1/3rd of the bandwidth for 3x the price, so the price per Gb is nine times as much.

On the other side, price per gig isn't the end all be all. Are they a reseller? How is their support? What kind of backbone connection do they have? How's the customer service?

Well, I dont use him. He's a personal friend, so all I can do is vouch for his personality.
Its a 100mbps backbone, that's all I know. You'll have to talk to him about details. Im sure he can work out a special deal for a cheaper rate or more BW.
