I know a few of us keep an eye on listgame but does anyone know if what this post says is true?

If it is, can someone with a decent contact at Real let them know and find out what's going to be done about it?

I brought this up the last time they came over to our office (about a month ago) ...and they already knew about it.

I can't really say anything more...but I also don't know much more. :)

Yes that's correct. It's trivial to pirate anything from Real. We realized this a long time back when we did our first game with them. I'm sure they already know about it. They should really do something about it as it's bound to hurt their sales.

Wow it's very easy.

Ouch :(

I assume that their contract guarantees some reasonable level of protection on the trial versions that they give out? If they've known for some time that their protection is trivial to bypass, I would think they've left themselves open to some very expensive claims for lost earnings. Someone with a few games on RA could probably make a killing by suing for their royalties on every download.
