I tried awire transfer from them last month. I never got the money, Ive emailed them to ask what the hell happened, nothing, no reply, no phone call, no money credited back to ym account.
And they seem incapable of responding to queries, and now moderate all posts on their forums to prevent criticism.
I'm seriously thinking of jumping ship from these idiots. Are there any companies in the world that still provide good customer service I wonder?

I've been using SWReg for two years now and am very pleased with the service.

You know, hearing all these stories regarding these payment processing companies... I've been strongly considering setting up a merchant account and doing my own payment processing when I eventually go live.

Seconded, they're a little odd ("British" but you know what that's like) but they're very straightforward and very responsive.

You're making me laugh. This forum is full of people complaining about RegNow, they're not sending you your money, they don't answer emails...and you're THINKING about jumping ship? You should already be paddling.

Personally, I think that not answering an email in a timely manner is a cardinal sin for a payment processor.

Use Plimus. I've probably asked them 25-30 questions, and I've always gotten a well-informed response within about 3-4 hours. They are also one of the more reasonable sites in terms of their commission...10%..

its not as simple as that. if you have one game, then woot.
if you have 6 products, several bundles, an affiliate system, are an affiliate as well as a vendoir, have maybe 30 affiliates set up, and make direct payments to advertisers from your regnow account...
it all becomes way harder.
That said, I am going to make the move next week if i dont get some kind of answer from them on both these issues.

a lot more than a year as passed now, my keygens are still not functionnal on regnow :) , the kookie thing is that 2 weeks ago , a regnow salesman contacted me to swith my products to regnow, they didn't even check if i had an account there!

Why would i want to switch from a 4.5-10% commission with a great service to a 20% with no service !?

Plimus rules! (http://www.plimus.com)

How does Plimus handle the VAT? Is there an opt out like with BMT micro?

I looked at their site but it seems way more complex than regnow to set up. although i note that even regsoft are cheaper than regnow...
Plimus seem to be all about this SDK of theirs and 'actions'. I just want someone to host a secure downlaod on a unique URL and charge people for it. thats what RegNow do for me (basically).
I do really like RegNows website though...
hmmmmm.
they have replied to me anyway, although they have told me about the wrong payment.
bah!

plimus dont require you to use their sdk (I dont use it), their site is a bit confussing, they refer to products using their sdk as plimware (eek) and normal secure download /reg key as 'buy now' products

on the -ve for plimus: slightly confusing site/set up, no strong affiliations with download sites, download warrenty bit on order form unless you absorb it
on the +ve; no set up fee, customisable order page, fair rates, great customer support

You can ask them to remove the download guarantee field. ( that's what i did )

BMT micro doesnt yet have all the features some of the other vendors provide, but I will say this for them. They have excellent response and service. If I mail anyone at BMT I generally get an answer shortly and it's always very helpful. They're very nice to deal with.

I agree. While I hope that BMT eventually adds the features that users request, their service is very good and they always give you a "human" response to your questions.

I sent 3 emails to my esellerate rep yesterday and got a response to each within minutes (that's how I could follow up with the 2nd and 3rd email). I give them very high marks for customer service. I even had a problem on a holiday weekend once and got a reply (although it couldn't get fixed until the weekend was over).

While you have them on the line, could you ask them to add cookie tracking for affiliates ;)

thank you
