Not that anyone in these forums ever visits my humble game development channel on irc, but I thought I should mention. Since Afternet suffered denial of service attacks, afternet is effectively rendered useless. Someone who frequents my channel goes by the nick of "Epidemi" has graciously invited me to setup #GameDevelopers on his irc network called GDChat. So if anyone is interested please try to connect to irc.gdchat.org instead of afternet to find #GameDevelopers.
Thanks

Well it seems my friend Chad (and technically co-owner of my channel) would rather I moved to undernet. It's quite a large network, I don't know if I want to do that. If anyone here has any thoughts on whether I should move again (to undernet) please voice them here, thanks.

I personnally use ARCNet (http://arcnet.vapor.com) (web site is not up to date), which is a rather small network :).
Too bad my IRC client doesn't handle multiple servers... (oh well, maybe it's better that way: less time lost on IRC!)

I think we're sticking to undernet anyways. I'm sort of glad to get away from the usual crowd, although I do wish those in my channel would move to undernet. I'm going to see about getting my channel de-registered on afternet.
