Hi All,
This is the second Indie game I've made (and it's finally finished) - I'd love to hear your feedback. The web site is all new too...

I really like this game, it's oddly hypnotic...

Had alot of fun playing it, it's one of those games that you could play for hours on end ... :)

Glad you guys like it - it turned out very close to what I originally imagined (which was not at all the case with my last game). Now, I need to see if it'll sell :)
FYI - Patrox had some driver/system problems that he fixed up and it ran fine after that (so if you have a 9800, it'll works fine).

I'm going to eagerly watch this game progress, I just played it again, and it sucked me in, it has a bejewled quality to it, it's like a bejewled shooter... It's different so it may be hard to find an audence, but this game is really great... I think you will have some RAVING fans of this game

Oh. My. Goodness.
Great game!
Really pulled me in, getting double hits is awesome, as is getting quick draws.
Only suggestion I would really have is to have a more satisfying sound when you destroy something. The game made me think of Rez for some reason, and I was expecting a similar sound reaction when destroying something.
Not sure what's considered a decent high score, but here's mine after playing the Elementary level once:

I'll reserve comment on the game until I've had a chance to download it, which is something that I'm eager to do given the positive feedback you've received so far, but I must be wearing my pedantic hat today as I spotted a minor typo on your page.
On this line, change "you" to "your"...
Two games in one: Hone you skills in the simulator and push them to their limits in the War Room.
Also (I hate myself for saying this as no one is going to care), you refer to GDN in the singular and plural in the same sentence. Pair "has" with "its", or "have" with "their".
Charged with defense against aggressive extra terrestrial activity, the GDN has begun to seek out gifted individuals to assist in their efforts.

My only complaint for this game, I know my kid would absolutly love it. He loves platypus and best friends, this would be right up his alley too. However GDN suffers from the same problem Z-ball does in this reagard. It has a somewhat complex keyboard interface for a kid who is just learning words like "dog" and "cat".
At the same time I really like the interface, I think it's slick and polished, it works great for me, but I also think it lops off some potential market. If I see my kid having a blast playing a game, i'm more likely to buy it for him then for myself... I'm a busy guy, but if my kid is enjoying a game, i'm much more inclined to buy games for him...

I thought this looked interesting, and I wasn't disappointed.
It's so simple, yet done with an absolute mountain of style and class in every respect. Simply excellent.
I would have preferred to be able to ratchet up the mouse sensitivity, but by the 3rd stage I'd pretty much gotten the hang of it anyway, and I reckon I did pretty good... (er, not as good as Gmicek, better try again...)
Is the game/messages/score table actually on-line, or is it all just part of the effect? (the way the theme is managed works superbly, too, by the way). One of the best things I've seen all year. Best of luck with it!
[edit] Oh, you're the Goofball guy! I thought that was an interesting title, too, although slightly patchy. This, however, is one of the most un-patchy indie games I've ever seen. Everything fits together beautifully.

That is one amazing game. Just what the doctor ordered - something to get my mind to switch off so I can get into the zone. The music also helps - fits the game perfectly.
Very, very nicely presented. Clay pigeon shooting has never been so much fun! "Two birds".
I hope it is a big hit for you.

--- Edit:
I just had to buy it. It has done wonders for my productivity.

It's always great to hear positive comments - thanks guys!
Gmicek - That's an impressive score. I think the most I've ever gotten on that level is something like 10M - I managed to get 20M once on a different level (but that was with a fully upgraded gun and attachment).
Rodhyde - I fixed those couple of things on the web site, thanks for pointing them out.
Anthony - It's all local. I agree with what you said about Goof Ball. It wasn't at all what I started out to make and strayed in many directions. It definitely has some fun in there, but could have used a lot more polish and direction. I've tried to take a lot of what I learned from it and apply it to this game.
Dan - I've thought that same thing about the interface before, but I felt that sticking to the theme and style was more important. And couldn't see a way to do both.

Bringing the scores etc online would really help bring out people's competitive nature, I reckon. Considering it?
Yeah, Goof Ball had some great bits and some rough bits, quite a mixed bag; definite potential but just a little too unfocused I felt. Definitely not the case this time.
