Hi there,
Recently I released Edges puzzle game (http://www.SugarGames.com/edges/ ) and editor of GameIndustry.com asked me about advertisement on his site.
Did anybody advertised on GameIndustry.com? Is it worth?
Thanks in advance for any information about this site.
Sincerely,
Michael Tretyakov mailto:info@SoftPressRelease.com

According to www.alexa.com GIN.com ranks as the world's 451,271st most popular web site...not great. Some people doubt alexa.com's accuracy, but it's not usually far wrong.
Also, take a look at the site and decide for yourself - does it appeal to your target market? Are there many other adverts? Where will your ad go? And most importantly - will I make back in sales what I pay for the ad?

GIN generates about 140000 unique views/month.
Personally speaking, they are nice people, big into the business side of gaming actually.
my advice: Start negotiating and see where you end up before you dismiss or accept them.

140000 unique views/month?
Terin could you please teach me where did you get such numbers?
Thanks,

Easy man, I ask the owner of the site.
I have a database of a zillion different site's numbers and advertising rates... its part of being an efficient marketer.
Of course, they could be lying to me, but I have talked numerous times with the GIN staff, and they seem less shady than most sites.

What's your definition of "unique views" as opposed to "unique visitors".

I often hear them used interchangeably...
Keep in mind a unique is only counted on a 24 hour basis, which means if every person visits the site every day, 140000 unique people is only 4,666 REAL people.
