I know a few people here have been anxious to see what I've been up to. Today at Outside the Box Software (http://www.outsidetheboxsoftware.com) we officially unveiled our game to the public, "Pow Pow's Great Adventure".

You can view game information and screen shots here:
http://www.outsidetheboxsoftware.com/games.html

You can view the game trailer here:
http://outsidetheboxsoftware.com/media/powpow_trailer1_v1.mpg

I recommend downloading the trailer, if you can. It's 16MB.

Comments welcome! :)

I just watched the trailer, it was very cool.

I might suggest making a shorter one with just the 'very coolest' stuff in it (walking through the snow, the warp-style move, etc). Also I think there are some tools to convert videos into Flash, in which case you could present 'Download' and 'Buy Now' links at the end.

Wow, awesome, you guys are very far along. This is all done since December?? You guys are pretty fast. :)

Who edited your video together? It's a pretty good job.

Thanks! :)

@Jim

Yeah, started in December. December - January were part time months. I've been working on it full-time since Feb.

I edited the video myself. :)

@lakibuk

Nando (who posts here) did the music. Here's his website: http://www.damselflymusic.com

Thanks Gil! :)

Actually I have you to thank you. Based upon your recommendation, I had Erik Asorson do the 3D models of the boss characters. Though none of the bosses are shown in the video clip (and only one screen shot), when you finally see the bosses I think you'll be impressed!

Glad I could be of help :)

I'm thinking on hiring him again for my next game. I only hope he'll be available :)

Wow, so based on what I heard you need to sell 100-150 copies only to get back the money invested in gfx ;)
