Do people generally register all the associated names with their Domain? For example, if you are Dexterity.com; would you register the domain DexteritySoftware.com and DexterityGames.com?

Or what if you where DexterityStudios.com? Would you also register DexterityStudio.com (without the "s" at the end)?

Also, do you register both the .com and the .net and all the rest?

What do you think?

If you are a big corporation, and you have million dollar trademarks to protect, it is in your best interest to try to get all domains that may pertain to your trademark so you can prove you are defending/protecting your trademark. This is why there is a rush for new domain names for .tv or whatever.

Otherwise, can you afford to get all those domains? I think it is possible to show that you are still protecting your trademark without getting all of those domains. Of course, it all depends on how much you pay for your lawyer. B-\

I know that some company booked arkanoid.com and is now selling breakouts through it.

So, maybe book your game's name as well (like dweep.com).
