If I start my website now, and I have an average indie game, how many downloads can I expect for the first month (on avg)?

Edit: Lets say my game is better then Dweep Gold... its a action/puzzle game (more puzzle), with high quality everything, music, sfx, graphics, levels.

I guess my best response would be, "try it and find out". With so little infomation about your game it's impossible to know. Even if I had a copy and played it several times, there's still no way to really konw. There are sooooo many factors involved.

There's a button at the top of the page you are reading. It says "search". Click it. Type "sales". Your answer should be in the results.

And just to be nice, I'll tell you that it all depends on so many variables that no one can tell you, other than it will likely be not much unless you get lots of help from others driving traffic to your site and your demo.
