Ive started on my first (commerical) project. Have to finish it by the end of november because Ive put it on my UCAS form :D . So far everythings going to schedule...touch wood it stays like that ;)

I thought the traditional Uni start month's where September?

They are but Im going uni in two years, but here we have to fill out UCAS forms which is basically an application form to different uni's. They call you for an interview and then tell you what grades you should get next year in order to pass.

I'm going to work on a new version for goose case, and maybe finish my new platform game.

My kids had a short summer break. I'm jealous. I got the 5th of July off as a federal holiday... but then I ended up having to work 17 hours straight the following day.

I just had a lovely 2 week holiday up north to the warm weather (it's winter down here in Oz).

I was amazed at how many ideas flodded my head after a week away from the computer, I had my iBook with me mainly to organise the photo's we'd taken, but I did get a little time to play around with some cross platform C development with SDL/OpenGL (something very new to me as I'm a Delphi man). I wrote a little test app/game I'm calling "Toad Muncher" might put it out as a mini-game at some point.

A fun little project that will pave my way into my next big (Win and OS X)game.

I've also fleshed out a couple of other game and app ideas further.

I really miss my university days.. life was so easy and I was spoilt with free time!

I agree with you that the holidays are short to create a new game/software but it is the beginning easiest to realize and to finish it hardest, you do not believe ?

I get to do it all. No rest for me :)
