Has anyone had dealings with this company? They seem to have a very large library of titles using their technology but I can't really make sense of the business model.
They mention their software allows you to create trial versions of your software and then process orders to unlock the full version (all with no additional programming) but they make absolutely no mention about who is processing the orders, what the fees are or how payment is issued.
Check their site - can anyone make heads or tails of it?

I can't make it out either, seems to be a lot of 'marketing lingo'.
It's quite convincing though...
I think the trials are time-based (doesn't say too much about this) so I'm wondering how much control the developer has over what's in the demo.
I couldn't find anything related to specific license costs either - anytime the costs are hidden, alarm bells go off for me.

I think they are using the same ( or similar ) system as Softwrap. ( http://www.softwrap.com )
I contacted them to know about their rate, i'll post it if they answer...

"Trymedia works primarily on a revenue share business, with some small upfront fees to set things up. The revenue share is 60% Trymedia / 40% Publisher when Trymedia handles the enabling, hosting, marketing, distribution, customer service, and transaction processing. When the publisher handles hosting, distribution, and marketing, the revenue share drops to 20% Trymedia / 80% Publisher."
pat.
Thanks!
It seems odd that even after a direct inquiry they're still vague: "some small upfront fees to set things up". Why not just say what your fee is?
