Hi Cliffski,
I noticed that Kombat Kars is published by Xplorys. Is it difficult to work with them? Is your game sold worldwide in retail?

This game looks like so much fun but I've never been able to get it to work. I tried it on four different machines with the demo version and also with my registration key. Always crashed to the desktop when I try to start a race. Ahhh well.

Maybe you need to contact Cliffski about this technical problem.

hhhmmm I think..... I am afraid that he is being ripped of by Alex again. A honest publisher will tell this kind of information. To my opinion it's important information.

this is indeed the case, so I'll have to wait to see if I get money from xing until I pass judgement. should be very soon...

Hi Guys!
Kombat Kars has not been released thusfar.
The game has been offered to retailers in the Benelux and publishers all over the world (that is why it's on our website).
It may have been part of one license deal, but this is something I would have to check.
The main reason why Kombat Kars has not ended up on the shelves was the lack of quality. Maybe because it is outdated a bit.
Retailers are being 2nd lifecycle AAA titles for very low prices. This allows them to retail titles like Tombraider for Euro 5.00
With this fact in mind, it is very difficult to get titles like Kombat Kars on the shelves. A few years ago this was completely different. Back then Kobat Kars would have done ok with a retailprice of Euro 5.00
So, if you want to hit the stores with a new game, make sure it is completely different then anything else availbable. And if it is, we will be happy to see if we can license it!

So what is it that you do with software?

Unless someone has actual experience publishing a game through Xing and wants to share their own experience as well as some evidence to back it up. I'd just as well not see people posting negative hearsay about Xing or any one else for that matter.
We don’t stand to gain anything as a community by attacking the people who support it....

I've been working with Xing for about a year now (working to get the CBG series ready for retail) - and so far, everyone at Xing who I've corresponded with has done their respective part.
