Im working on a turn based strategy game inspired by Lords of the Realm 2 and was wondering If anyone has seen any shareware games like that? I have looked around some places and all the turn based one I see are either rpg strategy games like fftactics or modern turn based battle games like panzer general. The only fantasy/medieval turn based retail games that come to mind are lotr2, lords of magic, age of wonders 1 and 2, disciples 1 and 2? But I was just wondering if anyone has seen any shareware games like that, good or bad but preferably good.

I am working on a turn based sci fi strategy game.
Should be beta testing in 4 weeks time.
I would like to make a fantasy turn based strategy as my next big project.

Next game on the cards for the team is a simple fun strategy game similar to risk 2 the board game.

You forgot "Masters of magic".

I havent spoted or played any real good shareware Turn based strategy games yet.
