Currently the price of my games is only detailed on the purchase page. I'm wondering if I should put the price right next to the game description on the main page or if that's a bad idea. Any opinions? Entice the user first and talk money later? or come out with the price right up front?

Since you offer buy buttons on your home page, I would think putting the price next to it is a good idea. Especially if you consider your price one of your strong selling points.
Just last week I found my way to the Spheres of Chaos (http://www.chaotica.u-net.com) website, which by the way is just as hideously confusing, hypnotic and psychadellic as the game itself. After playing the demo I made my way back to the site and noticed the price tag right on the home page: $8. I wasn't planning on buying the game when I came back for a visit but he made a sale right there. In this case, the price tag (for me) was a major selling point. I honestly may not have dug further if I didn't see the price, so I guess I'm just as fickle as everyone else on the internet. :D

With The Journal, I got asked so many times what the price was that I did finally move it to a prominent position on the front page. And I made it more obvious on the "Buy" page, as well. I didn't get the question nearly as oftem from Artifact players, but I took the hint and did the same thing on the Artifact page as well.
If you have multiple prices (like The Journal does, and Artifact did), just list the main price on the front page. The curious will find the detailed pricing list on its proper page.
