Hi,
I'm new on this forum. Someone told me that I might be able to get some help from here. I'm looking to recruit an interested programmer with a solid background in C/C++(a heavy emphasis on a strict heirarchal OOP approach). I'm coding a game project, but since I can't disclose too much information without a signed NDA, I will point you to my site to see what I have done in the past:
www.gryfter.net/~wickedewok
there's a demo there in the programming section of a pixel shader terrain engine demo(year old though) using Geo mip mapping algorithm. That isn't the engine I'm using, but it shows what I've done before.
My current project is a space game, 60% done. Most of the design/artwork/modelling/programming was done by me(you can see some models, concepts and old screenshots on my site). I need a solid programmer to help me out because I'm multitasking so much. Direct3D knowledge isn't required, although I am programming this in D3D(engine is already done). I will essentially be needing help with debugging, and some minor gameplay implementation(including structuring for the incomplete parts). What I have done so far:
- Game Engine(including graphics, collision, particles, menu systems)
- AI script system(need to add more hard coded AI functions)
- Map script system(need to add some more triggers/actions)
- Multiplayer support(old mp engine done, needs modifications/optimization, not intergrated into new build yet)
- Sound( sound engine done, needs intergration into new build)
I can't publically disclose any more information on the game. I have a publisher, if that counts for anything, but contracts are after market contracts, meaning you get paid after the game has been distributed.
If you are an interested, solid programmer, not necessarily experienced in game programming, but very good with C++, familiar with a really strict hierarchal approach to OOP(that's how this game is mostly done), and want more information on the game, then please email me at:

Thanks!
Marv
