Just seen the declaration of Blizzard's "Starcraft - Ghost".
made me think of the ways in which you advertise your game.
but the one thing that bothers me most,
is how do they get people on Game (e)magazines
to review the game?
I imagine that magazine will even pay for an inside
look of some hot-shot firm latest game, but what about
those mid-quality game that you see in the middle/last pages?
you know, theres always a cover feature, and the supporting
features of mid quality games, even Indy games.
i remember seeing couple of those in pc-gamer, and their
demos on the attached disk.
the question is, how to get your game into those magazines?
can you get someone to review your game?
if its not well known, can $-incentives can help? and how much?
just wondered
