So I'm looking at making a pad file for my game Drippy. Drippy fits into the Puzzle-game-based-around-correctly-placing-falling-objects genre. That's a mouthful. Tetris is a trademark. Besides, while it fits into the genre mentioned above, it is significantly different to Tetris.
Can anyone think of a keword or similar that people who are looking for this kind of game. I want to attract people who like Tetris rather than those who are looking for Tetris. I have been thinking for a few whiles now and I can't think of anything.
Do other people put the names of similar games as keywords in pad files? What is the legality of this? My inclination is that you can't but people would do it because the chances of the trademark owner both noticing and caring about it are probably quite slim. The Tetris guy has a bit of a nasty streak though.
