Does anyone know of a way to limit the bandwidth of a network card in Windows XP? I'd like to simulate different connection speeds over our LAN. I vaguely remember seeing tools available to be able to do stuff like that, but I think they were specific to using the DirectPlay API. I'm really looking for something to limit the bandwidth of the entire card, and I can't seem to find anything. Anyone have any ideas?

Not directly on XP, but you should be able to do it without much trouble using a linux box as a proxy and some filtering rules. It would be a better simulation of a remotely connected machine, too.
