Well... recently I've tried 123loganalyzer and Sawmill, and as well I've used webtrends and analog. None of those really do it for me. Can anyone recommend another program that does weblog analysis?

I find most of these scripts are highly inaccurate. webalyzer is one and analogue is also terible. I dont believe the stats they report at all. I made my own site stat script for my clients to use (in my web hosting business), there was a great php tut at Zend once.
hi,
Try clicktracks. It is an excellent tool. I was a bit hesitant to post this because i am an affiliate of them. I still wanted to resist from posting, but this would answer your question directly and help me too. So i thought it was a win-win. Anyway here is the link:
http://www.clicktracks.com/entrypoint.php?a=25173.
And yes, it is my affilite link. In case you do not want me to take credit for the sale(thereby no commision for me), use the following link:
http://www.clicktracks.com/
You can try their tour, which would explain what it is all about. In case you want a direct download, here is the link:

I have PMed your trial serial number to you. In case you download after visiting the site, i would appreciate it if you use my serial number as it would credit the sale to me. Please do not pass it on to anyone else. Btw it won the Clickz award for innovative tool. It is very easy to setup(around 60 secs) and does not require any changes on the server or to your website. Try it and decide for yourself if this tool is for you or not.
P.S: If anyone else want a trial serial, please pm me or send a mail to gans80@yahoo.com.
Sorry if this sounded like a sales pitch.
Cheers,
gana.
P.S: svero please accept my apologies. Instead of posting the message, i pm'ed you twice. How stupid of me and i was wondering where my post was :D. Sorry about that.

Well I knocked up a small windows app the other day to analyse my own logs. Its pretty primative, and not wonderfully optmised for performance, but it allows me to see daily activity and who visited what etc. and is fine for my current needs. I just got fed up of manually finding the logs nd searching through them in a text editor, and it was only a couple of hours coding.
It's configured to look for read in logs with the following naming convention exYYMMDD.log, and double clicking on any column in the views will sort the data in a descending order. hopefully everything else is straightforward, I didnt write it for anything other than personal use, but if its useful to anyone else, feel free to use it.
LogAnalysis.zip (26.8kb) (http://zoggles.dyndns.org/zoggles/LogAnalysis.zip)
If nothing else, it might give you some ideas for writing your own small app.

I use Urchin (www.urchin.com), but to be honest the more I use it, the less impressed I am. Though I seem to be in a minority in my opinion as it is hugely popular.

I also wrote my own, but I'm looking for something that is powerful and has a nice interface. Sawmill has decent stats but the strange web interface and the way that you need to configure it really turn me off. It's a little on the pricey side as well, priced by configuration and so on... 123 is pretty good but not quite powerful enough and has limited features. I'll check some of the other apps.

I'm using Summary (trial, right now). Seems good to me, but I don't have much experience in this field.
