View Full Version : Looking for a 2D/3D artist for a word puzzle game $$$
Hi guys,
I've been surfing this forum for some time now and working on my game at the same time. I'm at a point where I need professional art for my game. You guys have been very helpful and I'm hoping you guys can help me find a qualified artist for my game.
I'm looking for art quality on par with those games by www.popcap.com and www.mumbojumbo.com. More specifically a game called BookWorm.
This artist will be creating the following
an opening screen
game background
menu background
bitmap controls such as list box, buttons, scroll box, message box, etc.
multiple fonts
alphabet pieces
few animation fx.
This is a paying job, up to $50/hr to a qualified individual.
thanks,
Sirrus

Haha...
That guy is pretty damn good, but it seems like Pixel art is his only flavor.
Im already talking to a few people interested in the position, all very qualified judging from their past work.
Drop me a line.

Isp, I PMed you about this but you haven't read it yet, are you aware you have the message in your inbox? Anyway, take a look at it if you're still looking.
I appreciate everyone who responded. I've found an artist that suited the style that I'm looking for.
Thanks again and good luck.

I personally have used vector images in the games as they scale wonderfully, tiny in file size and sharper around the edges. We did a similar game to Bookworm called WordBlitz you can check out.

Sales actually aren't that bad considering that we've done only minimal marketing (search engine keyword buys, etc). Our goal is to release a new game every few months. A lot more work than I thought it would be. lol.
