I got my pocket peasea.. ;-P
Asus Mypal A600 (400mhz)
Gonna see what I can do on this baby.
Currently got it to compile FINE, works fine.
I could produce 2 binaries, 1 for win32x86 EXE (native) and
another for ARM X-scale based intel PX250.... Identical unmodified
source compiled for 2 different processor architecture.
Lalalalallalallalalalaa... Next up, try fmod for pocketpc...
llalalalalalalalaalalala.......
for gfx engine im using pocketfrog. There's another good one
called GAPIDraw or something.
Im using ms visual embedded tools 3.0 , that's all i need, don't

I made a minesweeper clone for the Ipaq 3650 when it first came out. They were sold out everywhere so I had to get one off ebay for $500. I see now that they are going for about $90 on ebay. Wow. Anyway, I used GAPI as well, it was a great litte library. Just like the old days with direct memory access.

Congrats!
Hmmm... I looked at the GAPIDraw license info, and I couldn't tell if they charge for licensing or not.... any idea? They just said that you need to ask them first. I don't know if that means you'll receive an e-mail reply saying, "Yes, you can use it. Now send us a check for 1,000,000 dollars! <lifts pinkey to lip>."
From what I can tell, PocketFrog is a free license. Is this correct? Also, I read something on their site that indicated to me that, at some level, PocketFrog is built ontop of GAPIDraw?

Hey, Gapidraw is free whether its for commercial use or not, the author of the library just wants to know if you're using it. When I released "Pocket Hockey Pong", I e-mailed him to let him know about it.
It's an awesome library when coupled with the Hekkus Sound System. The samples included with the Gapidraw library allowed me to create my game within weeks. PocketFrog is a great library as well though. Both libraries are being worked on daily so it's hard to say which one is better, but I had positive experiences with Gapidraw. Let me know if you have any questions as well! :)

talk about needing help. Hey chandler, I tested out
hekkus.
The MOD music breaks up in my win98 after a few seconds
into it.
Works fine on Win2k though, couldn't see what was wrong.
You know any other alternative ? besides FMOD .

Solved it! apparently mixer buffer constant in sound.h
is not sufficient, need to uncomment the doubled values and
all problems with intermittent breaks went away.
