I'm taking my first step from lurker to member. I have been coming to Dexterity for a while now and have read almost all of the articles on the page. Now that I have turned all the inspiration I have gotten from here I thought it was time to show you all what I have been up to and introduce my self. don't mean to sound negative (but it's late at night, so forgive me) but the first things that come to my mind are...

... with a title like WonderPalm, I actually first thought that your games would be exclusively for palmtops.

... naming a game with a misspelled word is risky if it's not very clear you're misspelling it on purpose

... naming a game with that PARTICULAR misspelled word is just BEGGING someone to make very dirty jokes about your game. (Hey, I'm sleepy, seeing rude words in everything is normal for me.)

Anyway, switching the C's to K's would help.

Congratulations on finishing your first game. I love the graphical theme. Anyway, here are my observations, I hope they help:

1) Is it just me, or is this game absolutely impossible? I can't last more than about 20 seconds! When I finally did last slightly longer than twenty seconds, it said the demo version ran out.

2) What's the difference between Basic and Advanced? I tried both and other than some missing monkey sounds, I couldn't figure it out.

3) Is that an intentional misspelling of coconut? It's spelled correctly in the title of the game page, but nowhere else.

4) When I installed the Basic Version, it didn't install a link to the game in the start menu, it only gives me the option to uninstall :)

5) The advantages for registering were not immediately clear to me - what do I get, different colored lava balls? More play time?

Thanks for the feed back. Yeah the title of the game is supposed to be spelled like that. Having it spelled right on the web page that’s my mistake probably from being to tired when I typed it. I wasn't sure if there were games out there that I couldn't find that had the name I wanted to so I named it "Cocunut" to try and avoid any trouble. Changing the C's to K's is great Idea I'll do that for sure.

The difference with the Basic version and the Advanced version is supposed to the graphics, sound and some game features. The higher your score gets a bird will fly out and if you shoot it, it will kill all the rocks on screen. Also a Red rock shows up which needs to shots to kill. The first shot changes the rocks color from red to green or blue and then its a normal rock. I’ll go back and try to make this more clear by putting screen shots of the stuff you would get in the Advanced version as well as the link to the site.

WonderPalm I understand can be misleading for palm stuff for now but I am going to be doing Palm games soon so I just kind of went for it. The name came from my favorite kung fu movie (I’m obsessed with kung fu movies).

All in all I guess I need to take it all back to the drawing board and re-work the game. As for the game being hard it was adjusted to what my friends were saying. If there are anymore suggestions on how I can the game even better let me know. All of the feed back it is very helpful and I have a lot to learn still. Sorry for the big post.
