Name reservations are now open for World of Warcraft Classic ahead of its worldwide release on Monday, Aug. 26 at 5pm CT.You can now create up to three characters per account on a realm of your choosing. There are a few things to keep in mind, however. If you decide on a PVP realm, you’ll have to stick with one faction. If you’re a Horde player, for example, you’ll only be able to reserve Horde characters on that realm. For PVE realms, though, you’re free to create both Horde and Alliance characters.

To start this process, you need to open the Battle.net client, find World of Warcraft, and change the version to World of Warcraft Classic. If you have multiple World of Warcraft accounts, you may need to change that as well. Then you need to install Classic to your PC, and hit play once it’s ready for launch. When you’re in the game, select a server, faction, race, and class. You can fully customize your character’s look as well as their name. After you create your character, you don’t have much to do other than wait for World of Warcraft Classic’s Aug. 26 release date. Note that you must have a active World of Warcraft subscription to reserve your Classic characters. If you want to Buy WOW Classic Mounts, we 5mmo.com can give you a very low price, welcome to buy.

Now that we've covered the basics, let's talk about how to go about reserving your WoW Classic character name.

First, open up the Battle.net desktop application and select World of Warcraft in the game menu.
Next, look for the version option and then select World of Warcraft Classic. If you have multiple WoW accounts, you will see a second dropdown option to choose the account that you want to work off of.
With WoW Classic chosen, go ahead and install the game. When it finishes installing, launch the title and then select Create a New Character. Now you can choose your faction, class, race, and name.

Blizzard notes that anyone choosing to play on a PvP realm will only be able to create characters within the same faction – you pick the Horde, you stay with the Horde. The developer also adds that, when WoW Classic goes live, players will be able to create up to ten characters in any given realm – and up to 50 across all WoW Classic realms. For now, though, you just get the three. Choose wisely.
